Color is an important element that determines the aesthetic height in film art,an important component of constructing the beauty of film images,and a symbolic visual symbol in film dissemination.With the rapid development of the film industry,from silent films to sound films,from black and white images to color expression,color elements have gradually become an indispensable means of expression in films.Color,as a visual language in films,can not only shape character images and express their psychological changes,but also show the tone of the film and foil the atmosphere of the film.This paper conducts a applied study on the aesthetic expression of color in films,discusses the connotation and influence of color in film background,film images and film expression,fully reflecting the aesthetic value of color in films.
