Reconstructing memory:study on the dissemination of traditional architectural decoration based on digital technology
In the context of rapid globalization and urbanization, traditional architectural decoration is gradually marginalized, facing the risk of being lost and forgotten. This paper explores how to use digital media to create and activate collective memory through the communication practice of digital narrative, thereby revitalizing traditional culture.Through the content analysis and case study, the research examines how digital technology can reinterpret and disseminate traditional architectural decoration, integrating it into contemporary culture and enhancing public awareness and emotional connection. The results show that digital presentation not only plays a crucial role in preserving the authenticity of cultural symbols but also constructs multi-layered cultural meanings through audience interaction and experience, providing new ideas and pathways for the preservation and regeneration of traditional architectural decoration.
