Cheongsam has unique artistic charm due to its rich cultural connotations,unique modeling design and exquisite production techniques.Its unique aesthetic connotation has important application value.Based on the unique artistic charm of cheongsam,this paper elaborates on the evolution process of cheongsam,sorts out the aesthetic concepts followed by cheongsam,explores the application of cheongsam in visual arts such as film and television production,painting and sculpture,and explores the application methods of cheongsam artistic characteristics in contemporary visual art creation,so as to better integrate the artistic characteristics of cheongsam into artistic creation and provide new perspectives for current design and creation.
