Cultural guardians:study on the current status of inheriting Yao traditional architectural and decorative art in the Nanling Corridor
In the context of increasing emphasis on global cultural diversity,Yao traditional architectural and decorative art in the Nanling Corridor stands as a unique cultural symbol,embodying rich historical information and ethnic wisdom.However,with the rapid processes of modernization and urbanization,Yao traditional architectural and decorative art faces severe challenges in terms of inheritance.From the perspective of cultural preservation,through field surveys and literature review,this paper reveals the cultural value and social functions of the Yao traditional architectural features listed in the cultural protection directories and the current status of traditional architectural studies in the Nanling Corridor.In line with the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it proposes that policy support,community participation and digital protection should be employed to promote the preservation and inheritance of Yao traditional architecture,thereby contributing to the revitalization of rural culture and promoting national cultural confidence and resilience.
