The Traditional Path and the Turn of Research on Talent Cultivation Models in Higher Education Institutes
The talent cultivation model in higher education institutes(HEls)summarizes the core elements and basic framework of higher education practice, which is not only the core issue of modern higher edu-cation research, but also an important gateway to open the"black box"of talent cultivation practice in HEIs.Fora long time, research on talent cultivation models in HEIs has mainly adopted a"top-down"macroscopic path(involving three sub-paths:"interaction & relationship","stage & attribute",and"or-ganization & function")and a"bottom-up"microscopic path(including three sub-paths:"individual &development","potential & structure",and"capital & value").These two traditional approaches to talent cultivation model in HEIs have their own advantages and disadvantages, but both lack inner connection of the intermediate path and cannot fully reflect on the heterogeneity of the subjective positions of HEIs and their diverse and multidimensional practices in talent cultivation. Therefore, based on the context of the times,we should shift to using"models"as a method, focusing on the core element framework and the intermediate path of the relationship ecological construction of the talent cultivation model in HEIs.
