Effects of different rolling methods on the microstructure and properties of annealed electrolytic copper foil
Effects of cold rolling and pack rolling on the microstructure and properties of annealed electrolytic copper foil were studied.Cold rolling and pack rolling were carried out in different annealed state copper foil, and the mi-crostructure evolution before and after annealing and before and after rolling were characterized. It is found that the hardness of electrolytic copper foil decreases after annealing, and the hardness increases after cold rolling and pack rolling. The hardness of unannealed copper foil reaches a maximum of 108 HV after pack rolling with 48%deforma-tion.After annealing, annealed twins and annealed textures are generated, which convert to deformed twins and de-formed textures after rolling.During the rolling process of copper foil,a large number of dislocations accumulate in-side,and a large number of dislocation tissues, mainly consisting of dislocation lines, dislocation walls, dislocation tangles and dislocation cells. On the whole, the influence of cold rolling and pack rolling on the microstructure and properties of annealed electrolytic copper foil is similar, but pack rolling can obtain greater deformation and higher mechanical properties, which can better meet the application requirements of ultra-thin and high-strength copper foil.
