Simulation of bending behavior of aluminum foam sandwich panel
Through establishing the model of foam aluminum sandwich panel,ABAQUS software was selected to an-alyze the influence of foam aluminum porosity and sandwich panel thickness on the quasi-static three-point bending and energy absorption performance.The simulation analysis shows that when the thickness of the panel and the pore diameter of foam aluminum are fixed,the bearing capacity of foam aluminum sandwich panel increases with the de-crease of the porosity of foam aluminum,and the total energy absorbed is unrelated to the size of the porosity.When the porosity and pore diameter of foam aluminum are fixed,the bearing capacity of foam aluminum sandwich panel increases with the increase of panel thickness,and the total energy absorbed increases.
