Influence of normalizing on inclusions of high grade non-oriented silicon steel
The influence of normalizing on inclusions of the non-oriented silicon steel is studied. The indirect effect of the inclusion state on the magnetic property of the finished product was analyzed. The main results show that nor-malizing of the high grade non-orientated silicon steel can significantly increase the size of the inclusions, reduce the distribution density of the inclusions, and improve the volume fraction of the inclusions in the steel. The increasing temperature which is from 975 ℃ to 1025 ℃,increases the size of the inclusions, the distribution density of the in-clusions decreases to varying degrees, and the influence of normalizing temperature on the volume fraction of inclu-sions is nonlinear. The influence of normalizing time which is from 4 min to 6 min,on the size, the distribution den-sity and the volume fraction of inclusions is nonlinear. The distribution density of the inclusions was the most impor-tant effect on the iron loss of the finished product, and the effect of the volume fraction of the inclusions was not ob-vious.As long as the distribution density is low,no matter the size is obviously large or slightly small, less iron loss of the finished product can be obtained.
