Determination of Cl- in rare earth fluoride by acid leaching and silver chloride turbidimetry
The sample was immersed in nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide.Chloride ions and silver ions formed silver chloride colloidal particles in a dilute nitric acid medium.Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy was used for turbidimetry measurement In the presence of stabilizer glycerol. And the chloride ion content was determined based on the work-ing curve. The optimal acid leaching conditions and turbidity conditions were determined in the study, base on result comparison experiments. The detection limit of the method was 0.0012%,and the detection lower limit was 0.0040%.The relative standard deviation of the experimental result was 3.25%and 1.78%,The method owned good precision and high stability.
