Surface structure and mechanical properties of zirconia ceramics for dental restoration
To improve the application effect of zirconia ceramic materials in dental restoration, the surface structure and mechanical properties of zirconia ceramics were investigated.Prepare ammonium polyacrylate, ammonia water, hydrochloric acid, deionized water, and anhydrous ethanol for pre-treatment,then mix them with zirconia powder, compact them using a molding machine, and prepare multiple zirconia ceramic samples by setting the sintering fur-nace temperature.Analyze their surface structure and mechanical properties. The surface structure of zirconia ce-ramic samples will change with the change of sintering temperature. In the hardness test, the hardness of zirconia ceramic sample A006 is the highest, with a value of 13.5 GPa.In the bending strength test, the A006 zirconia ce-ramic sample has the highest bending strength, with a value of 350 MPa.In the fracture toughness test, the fracture toughness of zirconia ceramic sample A006 is the highest, with a value of 8.96 MPa·m1/2.Sintering temperature can affect the surface structure and mechanical properties of zirconia ceramics. When the sintering temperature is 1 700 ℃,the mechanical properties of zirconia ceramics are optimal.
