Research on Determining the Concentration of Tailwater Discharge From Wastewater Treatment Plants Based on Controlling Section Water Quality Compliance
China implements a"three line, one single"ecological environment zoning control system in the admission of construction projects, and the"bottom line of environmental quality"is one of its important elements. This study takes an industrial wastewater treatment plant in the Suzhong water network area as an example.Following the requirements of the bottom line of surface water environmental quality, and meeting the requirements of meeting the concentration standards of the main water quality pollution factors in the control section(2 km downstream of the discharge outlet)and reserving safety margins,a one-dimensional river network hydrodynamic water quality coupling model is constructed to establish the relationship between pollution sources and water quality response, and to simulate and analyze the relationship between pollution sources and water quality. The allowable discharge concentration of the tail water of the sewage treatment plant is controlled during the dry season when the water quality of the control section is stable and meets the standard, providing technical support for regional water environment protection and management work.
