Research on the Feasibility of Applying the Activated Coke Denitration Technology in Domestic Waste Incineration Project
Elaborates on the characteristics, denitrification principle, and denitrification efficiency of the activated coke denitration technology. The denitrification process of activated coke is compared with SCR and PNCR which are commonly used in the field of waste incineration as deep denitration technology, considering technical and economic factors. The denitrification process of activated coke does not require heating or cooling pretreatment of the flue gas, saving energy consumption.Activated coke is cheap and easy to be obtained. However,it is not easy to be poisoned with a long service life. The results of the economic analysis indicate that the operating cost per ton of waste for the activated coke denitrification technology is about 25%lower than that of the SCR process and about 15%lower than that of the PNCR process.Considering the full life cycle, the total investment and operation cost of activated coke denitrification technology is higher than that of PNCR technology, with a static total cost approximately 20%higher and a dynamic total cost approximately 12%higher.However,the total investment and operation cost of activated coke denitrification technology is lower than that of SCR technology, with both static and dynamic total costs approximately 6%lower.
