Application of MIP Coupled EVS in Refined Investigation of Volatile Organic Pollution Sites
The traditional survey methods of Volatile Organic Contaminated sites have some problems, such as long period, low precision and many invalid points. In order to study the feasibility of MIP coupled EVS(Earth Volumetric Studio)in fine investigation of VOCs contaminated sites.Membrane Interface Probe(MIP)technology was used to quickly identify suspicious points, laboratory testing and analysis was used to scientifically verify the degree of pollution, and EVS was used to accurately delineate the pollution range. The results showed that the polynomial fitting curve correlation coefficient R>0.90 between MIP-PID signal value and laboratory detection data. The combination of MIP technology and traditional survey technology can reduce the drilling sampling points and shorten the survey period. The EVS can accurately calculate the volume of polluted soil and finely characterize the spatial distribution of pollution. The precise investigation method based on MIP assisted judgment, targeted sampling verification and EVS pollution range characterization constructed in this study can provide reference for the precise investigation of VOCs pollution plots,as well as green and low-carbon risk control and remediation.
