Methods and Practices of Zoning and Grading for Groundwater Pollution Control in Industrial Parks
There are a large number of industrial parks in China, covering a wide range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, chemicals and metal manufacturing, which bring better economic benefits while also posing greater environmental risks.Because industrial parks cover large areas and have different pollution conditions,a one-size-fits-all approach may result in excessive remediation or ineffective control. In this regard, based on the severity of pollution in each area of the park, the size of the risk to the surrounding environmental elements, the urgency of the control needs and other factors, put forward a groundwater pollution control zoning grading method, and in a stainless steel industrial park in Zhejiang(the park is divided into two priority control areas, eight key control areas)to carry out the practical application of the risk of groundwater contamination for the follow-up control work has laid a certain foundation. The method was practically applied in a stainless steel industrial park in Zhejiang, the park is divided into 2 priority control areas and 8 key control areas, laying a certain foundation for the follow-up control of groundwater pollution risk.
