In order to improve the level of steel structure engineering construction,this paper summarizes the characteristics and classification methods of steel structure welds,discusses the application points of ultrasonic testing technology in weld detection from the aspects of detection equipment parameter determination,weld defect positioning and quantification,and discusses the principle,transillumination method and influencing factors of weld image quality of X-ray inspection of steel structure welds.
