By adding an appropriate amount of mineral admixture, the performance of magnesium phosphate cement can be improved and the preparation cost can be reduced.Magnesium phosphate cement was prepared by reburning magnesium oxide and potassium dihydrogen phosphate. The effects of two mineral admixtures on the working performance, compressive strength, bond strength and water resistance of magnesium phosphate cement were studied by adding appropriate amount of fly ash and micro-carbon ferrochrome slag. The results show that the incorporation of mineral admixtures can effectively improve its working performance, accelerate the development of early compressive strength of magnesium phosphate cement and is conducive to the improvement of later strength, enhance the bonding strength of magnesium phosphate cement, and play a very important role in improving the water resistance of MPC materials.
