Concrete disintegration caused by external force may change the content of coarse aggregate significantly. In this paper, the coarse aggregate content of C60 self-compacting concrete was adjusted to simulate the concrete mixtures with different degrees of disintegration caused by external force. And the key properties of these mixtures were studied. The study shows that the content of coarse aggregate not only affects the fluidity and strength of the self-compacting concrete negatively, but also increases the cracking risk due to the discrepancy of volume stability. Also, root cause and hazard in practical engineering of concrete disintegration caused by external force were analyzed in this paper.
