Through the definition of the concept of weld stress and deformation,this paper clarifies the significance of controlling weld stress and deformation,analyzes the causes of weld deformation and weld stress,and discusses the measures to control and eliminate welding stress and reduce deformation in the welding process.This ensures the compressive and bending capacity of the steel and prevents damage to the steel due to weld deformation.
