The limestone/gypsum wet desulfurization process is a mature desulfurization technology that is widely used in coal-fired power plants,but the desulfurization system,especially the desulfurization tower,often faces abnormal scaling,which affects the safe and stable operation of the system in serious cases,so the structure and management of the desulfurization tower need to be further improved.Combined with the actual situation,the types and formation mechanisms of fouling in wet desulfurization absorption towers of coal-fired power plants were analyzed,the influencing factors of fouling were proposed,and the prevention and control measures of fouling were expounded.
