The purpose of this paper is to explore the tensile failure characteristics of steel reinforcement connectors in chloride salt environment.By designing specimens under different conditions and subjecting them to electrochemical corrosion and tensile tests, the corrosion behavior of materials in chloride salt environment and their influence on the mechanical properties of the connecting parts were studied. The test results show that the corrosion significantly reduces the yield strength and failure strength of the steel bar,and the corrosion degree is directly correlated with the failure performance.
