Reasonable highway design can not only improve the safety of highways and extend the service life of highways,but also help promote the development of regional economies.This paper summarizes the design of modern highway routes,analyzes the three basic elements of modern highway route design and its design points,and aims to improve the rationality and safety of modern highway route design.
