The cost control and risk analysis of municipal engineering cost aims to explore how to effectively reduce costs and deal with potential risks in the process of municipal engineering construction. This study analyzes the risks of municipal engineering cost, including market price fluctuations, calculation and quota issues in budget estimation, and changes in policies and regulations. At the same time, the problems in cost control are revealed, such as budget inaccuracy, material price fluctuations, engineering changes, etc. In order to cope with these challenges, measures such as establishing accurate budgets, stabilizing procurement channels, strengthening change management, and optimizing construction organization are proposed. The purpose of this study is to provide useful suggestions for cost control and risk management of municipal engineering projects,so as to ensure that the projects are completed on time, quality and budget.
