The one-way tensile test was carried out by prefabricating grouting sleeves with different defect types to study the failure mode and mechanical properties of the sleeve. The test results show that when the length of the end defect is≤2d(d is the diameter of the steel bar),the failure mode and mechanical properties of the grouting sleeve are similar to those of the full grouting sample. When the end defect is≥3d,the mechanical properties of the sleeve decreases, and the steel bar at the grouting end is pulled out and damaged. The middle defect has a similar failure form to the end defect, but when the defect equivalent is equivalent, the sleeve connection strength is more sensitive to the middle defect.Under horizontal defects, the connection strength of the sleeve decreases significantly with the increase of the radial thickness of the defect, while the eccentric defect has little influence on the connection strength of the sleeve.
