Taking the granite residual sandy cohesive soil of Quanzhou Industrial and Commercial Tourism Vocational Secondary School as the research object, the characteristics of stress strain, bulk strain and excess pore water pressure in the consolidated drainage and consolidation non-drainage conditions were studied by using the method of indoor triaxial shear test. The results show that the stress-strain curve shows a slight stress softening characteristic.During the triaxial consolidation of undrained shear, the excess pore water pressure increases briefly and increases nonlinearly, and then decreases steadily and nonlinearly after reaching the peak. The effective stress path of granite residual sandy clay is about the same, and all of them gradually approach the critical state line, and the smaller the shear confining pressure, the greater the approach rate.
