This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the architectural planning and design strategies of mountainous residential communities in China,and the results show that mountainous residential communities have significant natural environmental advantages compared with ordinary areas.However,the design and planning process is more complex,and the influence of natural factors such as topography needs to be fully considered.The article emphasizes that when planning mountain residential communities,the architectural design should be optimized in combination with the local topography and basic environmental characteristics to achieve high-quality living results,reduce costs,enhance environmental benefits,and promote sustainable development.
