Miner Heat Furnace Electrode Lifting Control Simulation Based on Improvement of PSO-FUZY-PID
Currently, the arc furnace is easily affected by the electrode, leading to an increase in power consump-tion and a reduction in the quality and output of the product as well as the production efficiency. Therefore,a method of controlling the electrode lifting of the arc furnace was proposed based on improved PSO-Fuzzy-PID.Firstly,a TMR magnetic sensor was installed on the arc furnace to obtain the response signal of the external magnetic field, and thus to determine the real-time position of the electrode. Then,a secondary side current detection system was designed by Rogowski coil, for detecting the secondary current generated by the electrode during operation. Moreover, the parameters of the Fuzzy-PID controller were optimized by the PSO algorithm.Meanwhile,a PSO-Fuzzy-PID con-troller was constructed.Furthermore, the secondary side current was input into the PSO-Fuzzy-PID controller.Final-ly,the electrode of the arc furnace could be controlled by adjusting the secondary current of the electrode. The experi-mental results show that the method can effectively control the voltage and current of the ore thermal furnace, with high stability. In the control response test, the rated value can be reached within 5S,and the adjustment time is con-trolled within 0.5s.The following conclusions can be drawn from experimental results. The method can control the voltage and current of the arc furnace effectively, with high stability. The rated value can be stable within 5s in the control response test, and the adjustment time is controlled within 0.5s.The data prove that the proposed method is more efficient in controlling the rise and fall of the electrode of the arc furnace.
