Simulation Study on Smoking Effect of Heated Non-Combustible Cigarettes
In order to explore the release law of nicotine in HNB cigarettes puff-by-puff,the heat and mass trans-fer equations inside the cigarette were determined according to the classical heat conduction equation and Arrhenius law,respectively,and the numerical simulation model of heat and non-burn cigarette heat and mass transfer was con-structed in the paper.The nicotine mass transfer kinetic parameters were determined by fitting the experimental data using an orthogonal design.The temperature field distribution inside the cigarette,nicotine release and residual con-centration,and puff-by-puff quality of nicotine under the Canadian smoking mode were calculated.The results show that the model can better realize the prediction calculation,and the root mean square error between the simulation re-sults of the nicotine puff quality and the experimental results is 0.0121mg;The maximum error percentage between the simulated value and the experimental value of the internal temperature change curve of the wick is 6.1%;The in-ternal temperature distribution of the wick corresponds strictly to the release characteristics,and the release of nicotine at the gas inlet is poor.
