Energy Consumption Monitoring Method of Large Public Buildings Based on GPRS Wireless Transmission
In order to clarify and reduce the energy consumption of large public buildings, this paper presented a method of monitoring energy consumption of big public buildings based on GPRS wireless transmission.Firstly,a sen-sor network composed of multiple sensors and ZigBee was constructed to collect the usage data of public building re-sources,and then data was sent from GPRS wireless sensor nodes to the embedded gateway.Secondly, the number of hops and the queue length were limited to reduce network congestion and transmission time.According to the distribu-tion of the circuit, the energy consumption of the metering sub-items was divided into lighting energy consumption, air conditioning, energy consumption cooling energy consumption and heating energy consumption as well as the energy consumption of terminal equipment, which was convenient for screening and integrating the actual energy consumption. Moreover, the energy consumption data were integrated and unified into one monitoring result.Mean-while,the mathematical expectation and variance were used to judge whether the energy consumption was more than the variance data, thus determining the energy consumption status. Finally, the building energy consumption monitoring was achieved.Experiment results show that the difference between the monitoring result and the actual en-ergy consumption is small, indicating that the method can obtain accurate monitoring results.
