AFDX Network Topology Optimization Based on Degree Centrality
With the rapid development of aviation technology, avionics full-duplex switched Ethernet(AFDX)has replaced the traditional avionics transmission bus standard and has become a new generation of airborne equip-ment networks.Aiming at the problem of uneven distribution of bandwidth resources in the current avionics network, this paper proposes an AFDX network topology optimization algorithm based on the degree centrality theory, and the simulation and experiment are carried out according to the virtual link relationship between terminals in a real network topology.By adjusting the terminal with high bandwidth resource occupancy rate to a switch, the cascade bandwidth of the target switch is reduced by 11.7%and 9.72%;and the algorithm is simulated and verified through the full digital simulation platform based on OPNET,and the bandwidth occupancy of the whole network switch is reduced to varying degrees. The results show that the method can optimize the network topology, not only can solve the problem of insuffi-cient local bandwidth allocation of aircraft network, but also can optimize the network performance, which has impor-tant engineering practical significance.
