Transmission of Process Data in MVB-ECN Heterogeneous Network and Simulation Analysis
Multifunction Vehicle Bus(MVB)is currently the most widely used bus in the train communication network and train control system,but with its limited transmission rate,it no longer meets the needs for transmission of large data.Ethernet-based train communication network is a new wideband network system that integrates train control and services for large-amount information,and is becoming an important tendency of the train communication network.The interconnection and communication between the relatively new Ethernet Consist Network(ECN)and traditional MVB must first ensure the real-time and reliable process data transmission used for train control.There-fore,this paper first analyzes the communication protocol and transmission mode of MVB and ECN,proposes a scheme for interconnection and transmission of process data in the MVB-ECN heterogeneous network,and theoretically analy-zes the transmission delay of process data.Then,based on the OPNET software,an MVB-ECN heterogeneous network simulation model is built to simulate and verify the real-time performance of process data transmission,and by analy-zing the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed scheme,this paper aims to provide a theoretical reference for the design of MVB-ECN gateway.
