基于现有的超算平台和有限体积法计算程序,开发基于三维实体模型的注塑成型数值模拟计算模型.基于可压缩两相流模型进行计算,采用有限体积法进行离散,结合流体体积法(VOF)进行界面捕获,使用Cross-WLF黏性模型表征聚合物熔体的流变行为.以平板型腔和带圆柱嵌件型腔熔体保压过程为例进行数值模拟计算,成功预测型腔压力、温度和应力等流动特性的分布,模拟结果与文献中的结果基本吻合.
Simulation of injection molding packing process based on 3D solid model
Based on the existing supercomputing platforms and finite volume method calculation programs,a numerical simulation calculation model for injection molding based on three-dimensional solid model is developed.The calculation is based on the compressible two-phase flow model,and discretized using the finite volume method.The interface is captured combined with the volume of fluid method(VOF).The rheological behavior of the polymer melt is characterized using Cross-WLF viscosity model.Taking the pressure holding process of the melt in the flat cavity and the cavity with cylindrical inserts as examples,the numerical simulation calculations are conducted.The distribution of flow characteristics,such as cavity pressure,temperature,and stress,is successfully predicted.The numerical simulation results are basically consistent with the results in the literatures.
