Influence of water retaining effect on the erosion caused by pipe leakage
In order to study the influence of the flow effect caused by the leakage and erosion of the hydraulic pipeline on the formation of the erosion after being blocked by the underground structure, the process of pipeline leakage and flow through the underground structure is simulated by the discrete element method on the basis of the principle of fluid-solid two-way coupling.PFC is used to simulate the flow of seepage water when it comes into contact with underground structures, and Fluid Dynamics Simulation is used to simulate the complete process of flow flow. The results show that the seepage water will circulate when it flows through the underground structure. The circulatory velocity of the seepage water is the largest for the circular structure and the smallest for the rectangular structure, when the seepage water flows through the structure under the same conditions. The blocking effect of the underground structure on the seepage is proportional to the water retaining width of the structure, the water retaining effect of the rectangular structure is the best, and the water retaining effect of the circular structure is the worst.
