Stress analysis and assessment of seawater pump and auxiliary exhaust pipe in nuclear power plant
In order to ensure the reliability of the seawater pump and its auxiliary exhaust pipe in a nuclear power plant, and the stress intensity meets the requirements of the corresponding nuclear grade standards.Firstly, the geometric model of the seawater pump is established.Secondly, the three-dimensional finite element model of the seawater pump and auxiliary exhaust pipe is established by Ansys software. Then, gravity, pressure, nozzle and seismic loads are applied in sequence and combined. Finally, the stress distribution of seawater pump and auxiliary exhaust pipe under different working conditions is checked according to ASME BPVC-Ⅲ standard. The results show that the seawater pump and the auxiliary exhaust pipeline meet the stress limit under design, normal, abnormal, urgent and accidental conditions.
