Spatial database of decision-making system for ecological restoration of artificial recharge rivers
In order to provide optimal schemes in design and assessment of the river ecosystem restoration, an effective approach for processing mass data is presented with multi-scales, multi-sources, and multi-types.Particularly, the pattern of spatial data engine ArcSDE is integrated with the relational database Oracle and GIS linear reference system as well as the dynamic segmentation. An ecological restoration spatial database is established, as a case study, for Yongding River, to provide an effective data support for assessment and decision-making for the Yongding River ecological restoration. It is demonstrated that the proposed approach is effective and practical for data supporting in assessment and decision-making for the ecosystem restoration of artificially recharged rivers.
