摘要

现有虚拟网络功能(virtual network function,VNF)部署方案大多基于单一资源展开研究,忽略了 VNF的多维资源需求,导致资源分配失衡,造成低效部署.针对这一问题,提出一种高效的多维资源均衡的VNF部署方法.为避免后续VNF部署时的资源浪费,在正式部署前会对部分服务器进行VNF迁移.综合考虑VNF的多种资源需求,通过周期性更新服务器的各种资源信息,为各个待部署VNF寻找最合适的部署服务器.仿真结果表明,基于该方法进行VNF部署,可以在保证服务器资源分配均衡的同时,在每个维度上实现近乎最优的资源利用,有效减少使用的服务器的数量.

Abstract

Most of the existing virtual network functions(VNF)deployment schemes are based on a single resource research,which ignores VNF's multi-dimensional resources needs,leading to imbalances of resource distribution and inefficient deploy-ment.In response to this issue,a high-efficiency multi-dimensional resource balanced VNF deployment method was proposed.To avoid the waste of resources during the deployment of subsequent VNF,VNF migration was performed on some servers before the formal deployment.At the same time,considering a variety of resource needs of VNF,and through the various resource information of the server through cyclical updates,the most suitable deployment server for the deployment of VNF was found.The simulation results show that the VNF deployment based on this method can be used to ensure the balanced distribu-tion of the server,and to achieve nearly optimal resource utilization on each dimension,thereby effectively reducing the number of servers used in use.
