On the Construction of the Independent Knowledge System in Chinese Investigative Science Under the Background of Modernization of Public Security Work
With the development of practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,constructing the Chinese independent knowledge system has become an inevitable requirement and mission.Under the background of"modernization of public security work",promoting the construction of autonomous knowledge systems in police science and its affiliated disciplines is not only essential for supporting the high-quality development of public security work in the new era but also crucial for gaining initiative and discourse power in the internationalization process of public security science.Investigative science,as an important sub-discipline of public security science,has advantages such as relatively abundant academic accumulation,complete theoretical system,and fruitful research results.However,it also faces challenges such as the need to improve its autonomy,weak convergence of disciplinary boundaries,and the need to enforce research strength.The construction of an independent knowledge system of Chinese investigative science should be guided by Marxism theories and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,adhere to the principles of originality,practicality,and openness,and focus on building discipline,academic and discourse systems with Chinese characteristics,making it a more vibrant,inclusive,and valuable independent knowledge system.
