Blockchain-embedded two-product supply chain decision making for manufacturers with low carbon perception differences
Considering the low carbon perception sensitive characteristics of consumers, the low carbon products and ordinary products were produced simultaneously by manufacturers to meet differentiated consumer demand. The manufacturer's supply chain decision-making model without blockchain and that with blockchain were constructed for comparative analysis. The results showed that under a certain blockchain cost threshold, the implementation of blockchain by manufacturers was not only conducive to the improvement of corporate profits, but also conducive to the improvement of retailers'profits and consumer surplus, comparing the two modes of implementing blockchain technology and the non-implementing blockchain technology, the higher the valuation impairment level of low-carbon products, the lower the discount level of ordinary products, and when the lower the blockchain cost thresh-old,the blockchain technology was prior adopted by manufacturers;the larger the percentage of carbon-sensitive consumers, the greater the profits for manufacturers and retailers, and the profit fluctuation of manufacturers was always higher than that of retailers, however, the proportion of carbon-sensitive consumers had no impact on the threshold of the cost of implementing blockchain for manufacturers;manufacturers used blockchain to increase con-sumers'demand for low-carbon products and reduce demand for ordinary products, while increasing the retail and wholesale prices of low-carbon products.
