Recycling decision of closed-loop supply chain considering green design and CSR under EPR policy
To explore the influence of green design behavior of manufacturer and Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)behavior of retailer on Closed-Loop Supply Chain(CLSC)operation under the government Extended Producer Responsibility(EPR)policy. The game models for CLSC were constructed under four situations, and the impact of manufacturer's green design and retailer's CSR behavior on recycling decisions and operational performance of CLSC were analyzed. The research showed that regardless of the recycling mode, the retailer's CSR behavior might not always be beneficial to himself, but it could improve the optimal green design level of manufac-turer,enhance the recycling effect of waste products and improve the overall performance of CLSC.The improve-ment of manufacturer's green design level was conducive to increasing the recycling rate of waste products,expan-ding market demand and improving retailer's profits and social welfare. However,a higher level of green design was uneconomical to oneself.Whether the retailer undertook CSR or not,the manufacturer's recycling channel selection strategy was affected simultaneously by factors such as difficulty in recycling and government subsidies, and when retailer recycles and undertook CSR,it was more beneficial for manufacturer to make profits.
