Data Elements,Human Capital and Common Prosperity:A Quasi-natural Experiment based on National Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Area
Based on the exogenous shock derived from the quasi-natural experiment of the national big data comprehensive pilot area, the multi-period DID method(Time-varying DID)is selected to explore the causal effect and internal mechanism of data elements affect-ing common prosperity. The research shows that data elements can significantly drive common prosperity, and this conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests such as placebo test and exclusion of other policy effects.Among them, human capital is an effective way for data elements to help achieve common prosperity.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the driving effect of data elements on common prosperity is more obvious in intelligent,resource-based and high industrial structure cities. The conclusion of the study is helpful to cla-rify the focus of data elements to promote common prosperity and provide empirical evidence and decision-making reference for the realization of the goal of common prosperity.
