New Quality Productivity,Employment Structure and Common Prosperity of Farmers and Rural Areas
Based on panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2022,a benchmark regression model and a spatial econom-etric model are constructed to examine the impact of new quality productivity on the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas, and to explore the transmission mechanism of employment structure between new quality productivity and common prosperity of farmers and rural areas. The benchmark regression results indicate that new quality productivity can significantly empower farmers and rural areas to achieve common prosperity. The mediation effect test found that the employment structure plays a significant mediating effect between the new quality productivity and the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas. The spatial effect test results show that there is a signific-ant positive spatial spillover effect of new quality productivity on the common prosperity of farmers and rural areas.Based on this, policy recommendations are proposed to accelerate the development of new productive forces, focus on optimizing the employment structure of rural labor, and promote the coordinated development of new productive forces between provinces,in order to provide theoretical reference and empirical evidence for accelerating the realization of common prosperity for farmers and rural areas.
