The integration of science and education provides new momentum for the reform and development of vocational education and opens up a new track.Integration of science and education emphasizes the unity of teaching and research,requires respect for the differences in teachers'development paths,integrates scientific research into the whole process of teachers'growth,and improves teachers'professional level.The elements of professional development ability of teachers in higher vocational colleges based on the integration of science and education include professional quality with teacher ethics as the core,professional quality with scientific research as the lead,educational quality with teaching as the core,and service quality with social needs as the goal.Higher vocational colleges should take the integration of science and education as the guidance,and explore the strategies of teacher's professional development from the aspects of idea innovation,model innovation,ability improvement and team building.
