With the acceleration of globalization,college English teaching plays an important role in cultivating students'sense of national identity.This paper deeply analyzes the role and the realization mechanism of college English teaching in fostering national identity,explores the contents and methods of cultivating national identity in English teaching,and uses questionnaires and interviews to collect data and demonstrate teaching practice,so as to improve teaching effect and effectively enhance students'national identity.
