Financial Support,Industrial Structure and Rural Resident Income Increase:An Empirical Study Based on Panel Data from 40 Counties and Cities in Jiangsu Province
Using panel data from 40 counties and cities in Jiangsu Province from 2002 to 2022,the impact coefficient of financial support on rural residents'income growth was analyzed using the ratio of the added value of three industries to regional GDP as the threshold variable.The empirical results show that:Under the influence of the threshold effect of industrial structure,financial support can promote the increase of income for rural residents;As the proportion of the added value of the primary and secondary industries to the regional GDP continues to rise,the effect of financial support on increasing income for rural residents is weakened,showing an inverted U-shaped growth trend;The continuous expansion of the proportion of added value of the tertiary industry to regional GDP has a significant positive effect on financial support for rural residents to increase their income,and the effect is stronger after crossing two thresholds.
