Resilience Assessment and Application for Megacity Water Supply System:Case of Shanghai Salt-Tide Intrusion
As a critical part of resilient urban construction, water supply system resilience is facing unprecedented challenges in recent years. This paper explored the evaluation methods of water supply system resilience, and analyzed the current status and problems of water supply system resilience research practice.By integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches, this study precisely identified the resilience factors of water supply systems in megacity at different stages:pre-event,during-event,and post-event.An innovative resilience assessment framework for Shanghai's water supply system was constructed, with a comprehensive evaluation conducted using the Shanghai salt-tide event in 2022 as a case study. The results showed that the overall resilience of Shanghai water supply system during the salt-tide was between"controllable"and"healthy".This study provides a more comprehensive experience and strategic reference for other cities.
