The underground karst spring water in Jinan City is abundant,rich in potassium,sodium,calcium,magnesium,strontium,metasilicate,and other mineral elements that are beneficial to the human body.However,the total hardness of the spring water exceeds the requirements of the existing high-quality drinking water standards.To meet the demands of Jinan citizens for high-quality drinking water,from the perspective of the process route for the implementation of spring water direct drinking,the raw spring water was purified by a green drug-free multi-media filtration,precision filtration,ultrafiltration,nanofiltration and ozone/ultraviolet-based double disinfection process technology.The treated water was sent to users through 304 stainless steel pipelines,which greatly ensured the safety of drinking water meanwhile ensuring the quality characteristics of spring water.From the perspective of the construction mode for spring water direct drinking,pipeline-based and centralized water supply construction modes by fully combining the demand characteristics of new communities and existing communities were formulated.Finally,it was pointed out that spring water direct drinking is the characteristic of Jinan City,and it is the people's livelihood and well-being,which will be carried out in stages and steps according to the planning requirements of spring water direct drinking for citizens of Jinan City.
