Case Analysis of a WWTP Recovering after Flood Based on Complex System Management Thinking
In view of the complex characteristics of wastewater treatment plant(WWTP)recovering after flood which goes beyond conventional engineering construction,an analysis method based on complex system management thinking is proposed.Taking the WWTP recovering after flood in Hebei Province as a case, this paper analyzes the complexity of engineering and systems, and uses correlation cutting method and target applicability thinking to degrade the difficulty of the problem. The WWTP recovering after flood engineering is divided into two stages:functional recovery and normalized operation. The relatively weak correlation of each element is cut to reduce and decompose the inherent complexity of the engineering, and the expected goal of the WWTP recovering after flood are achieved. The complex engineering analysis method based on complex system management thinking in the paper can provide reference and inspiration for similar projects in the future.
