传感网中间件是介于无线传感器网络和上层应用之间的系统软件,屏蔽底层的网络硬件差异性和分布式环境的复杂性,提供一个稳定的应用开发环境.随着传感网及其应用的发展,系统的复杂性也随之增加,对传感网中间件的质量和性能的要求也不断增加,传感网中间件的性能和质量直接影响到传感网应用的推广,因而传感网中间件的测试与验证是传感网研究的重要方面.结合ISO/IEC 9126标准和传感网应用的特征,提出了传感网中间件的测试标准和测试内容.在此基础之上,提出了一个传感网中间件测试与验证平台,描述了测试与验证平台的整体架构和各个模块的实现细节及测试平台的工作流程.
Test and Verification Platform for Middleware of Sensor Networks
Middleware for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is system software between WSNs and applications, which shielding the underlying network hardware differences and the complexity of a distributed environment, providing a stable environment for application development. With the development of sensor network and its application, the overall complexity of such systems is continuously increasing. These will require high performance and high-quality middleware for sensor networks, which directly affecting the research and the development of sensor networks. Considering the ISO/IEC 9126 standards and the characteristics of sensor networks, test standards and content of middleware for WSNs are proposed in this paper. In addition, we introduce the design and implementation a platform, which test and verify the quality and performance of middleware for WSNs. The overall architecture of this platform and the details of each module in the platform are described in this paper. According to different types of middleware for WSNs, users can design tests programs by the platform.
