Research on the Influence of Loading Methods and Rates on the Mechanical Properties of Yellow Sandstone
The uniaxial compression experiments of different loading modes and rates are carried out to study the variation of compressive strength of two different strength grades of samples.BP neural network model is established to predict the uniaxial com-pressive strength of the yellow sandstone.The results show that the uniaxial compressive strength of sandstone increases first and then decreases with the increase of loading rate.The BP neural network model is used to predict the uniaxial compressive strength of sandstone has a high similarity with the experimental value,and the maximum relative error is 0.011,which proves the feasibility of the model.
