Iterative Camera Calibration Method Based on Elliptic Dual Conic
Aiming at the problem that the eccentricity error will occur when the standard circle is projected into an ellipse, which will affect the camera calibration accuracy,a camera calibration method which can compensate the eccentricity error in itera-tion and improve the calibration accuracy is proposed. This method accurately estimates the center coordinates based on the dual quadratic curve to reduce the noise interference.Taking the parameters obtained by the traditional calibration method as the initial-ization parameters, the calibration image is reprojected to the parallel view, and then the calibration point coordinates of the stan-dard circle on the parallel view are detected. The camera calibration accuracy is improved by iteratively thinning the eccentricity er-ror.Under the same set of calibration data, this method is compared with other calibration methods, which proves that this method has higher calibration accuracy.
