Millimeter wave detector is an important part of direct detection receivers.A V-band high-sensitivity broadband de-tector designed by using HSCH-9161 GaAs detector diode is proposed.The 3D packaging model of the diode is designed by using HFSS,and combined with the SPICE model in ADS,the simulation accuracy of the diode model is improved.V-band waveguide mi-crostrip transition,sector line low-pass filter and input matching circuit,and completed circuit model of the V-band broadband de-tector are designed.The whole circuit is finally fabricated on the Rogers-5880 substrate which thickness is 0.127 mm,copper thick-ness is 0.017 mm.The S11 is less than-5 dB from 50 to 75 GHz,and the voltage sensitivity is above 1 008 mV/mW.The sensitivity is greater than 1 500 mV/mW from 51 to 68 GHz.This lays the foundation for the design work of the direct detection receiver.
